Gareth Lord: ‘Foochy said I have to give him back at world No. 1’

With world No. 1 Justin Rose’s regular bagman Mark ‘Fooch’ Fulcher sidelined as he recovers from a recent heart surgery, longtime caddie Gareth Lord (aka “Lordy”) is filling in.
Lordy is great friends with Fulcher and Rose, so he’s the perfect interim caddie.
After seeking advice from Fooch on Saturday evening on how to steer Rose to victory on Sunday, Lord was able to do just that.
In this interview moments after Rose’s win at Torrey Pines in the Farmers Insurance Open, Lord explained to TCN’s Michael Collins how much the victory meant and also how instrumental Fulcher was even though he wasn’t inside the ropes.
