The PGA Tour visited Malaysia last week for the CIMB Classic at TPC Kuala Lumpur, which is one of the richest tournament purses of the season. It’s also one of the most unique regions for the Tour to visit during the year, yielding plenty of opportunity for Tour caddies to share the sights and sounds from the week.
I’d imagine it’s pretty tough to get a good, old-fashioned New York-style pizza in Malaysia. This was confirmed by Kenny Harms, looper for Kevin Na, on Instagram earlier in the week. I’m still not entirely sure what they put on the top of the pie in this first video…
Kenny didn’t have any better luck earlier in the week while visiting another pizza restaurant in Thailand, despite it being named Bronx Pizza.
Can somebody please get Kenny a decent slice of pizza? Is that really too much to ask?
Meanwhile, things seem to be on the opposite end of the taste spectrum when it comes to finding decent desserts in the region. Caddie Scott Sajtinac seemed partial to this spot to satisfy his sweet tooth when he wasn’t carrying during a tournament round… probably worth noting, too, that Sajtinac’s nickname is “Saj.” Wonder if that had anything to do with it.
Hands down the best desserts in Kuala Lumpur. pic.twitter.com/8PIMTeHcwh

In case you didn’t realize it, the CIMB Classic is a huge deal in Malaysia. It’s easily the most popular annual sporting event in the region, having hosted some of the biggest stars in golf over the years.
As such, it can be a bit difficult for the players and their caddies to get around town. Luckily, the Malaysian government provided police escorts to make sure nobody missed a tee time. Caddies Kip Henley and Taylor Ford shared the action via their Twitter accounts earlier in the week.

Once had a sports psychologist tell me I should drive slow to the course and smell the roses along the way. I wonder if smelling leather burning because my ass is gripping the seat counts the same ? pic.twitter.com/KAY7zLgbvO
