‘Under the Strap’ Podcast: Episode 2 with Damon Green, Paul Tesori and Brian Vranesh
In our second ‘Under the Strap’ podcast episode, TCN Director of Content T.J. Auclair welcomes caddie guests Damon Green, Paul Tesori and Brian Vranesh.
The common denominator here? All three caddies actually played professionally on the Korn Ferry or PGA Tour before becoming loopers at the highest level.

Green, who currently caddies for Sung Kang, was on the bag early in his career for Scott Hoch and then Zach Johnson, with whom he won the 2007 Masters and the 2015 Open Championship at St. Andrews. In 2011, as a player, Green finished T13 in the U.S. Senior Open.
Tesori was on the bag for Webb Simpson’s wins in the 2012 U.S. Open at Olympic Club and the 2018 Players. As a player, Tesori was on the PGA Tour in 1997 and 1999, but went 0-for-17 in cuts made, as he explains in the podcast.
Vranesh, meanwhile, played on the PGA Tour in 2009 with a career-best finish T8 at the Buick Open. Along with caddying for Sungjae Im early on, Vranesh also caddied for Kevin Chappell last fall at Greenbrier when Chappell fired a 59.
