There’s so much that goes into preparing for a tournament for both players and caddies. They don’t just show up on the first tee Thursday and go out without having completed an extensive punch-list.
How much pre-event work do caddies actually do from getting yardages and chasing balls?
It’s a lot more than what people think. Although the tournament is Thursday through Sunday, we pretty much work seven days a week. The longer you have been out here and have learned golf courses the more you can rely on your past experience. The better you know a golf course, the more confident you can be.
