Since turning 50 in late July, the journeyman New Zealander has taken the PGA Tour Champions by storm with six finishes inside the top 9 in his first seven starts, highlighted by a solo third in the Ally Challenge.
Rathouz talked to Alker about his career, his sudden surge at age 50 and how much of a role caddie Sam Workman has played sticking by Alker’s side these last three years.
