Reigning PGA Champion Justin Thomas and reigning Open Champion Jordan Spieth played a practice round at Carnoustie together ahead of the Open Championship on Tuesday.
When the round was finished, Thomas bet Spieth’s caddie, Michael Greller, that the looper couldn’t two-putt from 60-70 feet.
The catch? Greller had to putt with a wedge.
As Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis reports, Greller showed the same cool, calm, collectiveness that has allowed his boss to win three majors:
Pretty funny to see Thomas confident after that first putt from Greller came up 15 feet or so short.
But then, Greller gave him the dagger.
Hats off to the caddie.
