J.J. Jakovac, caddie for one of the brightest young stars on the PGA Tour in reigning PGA Champion Collin Morikawa, gives some insight into another incredible week for the pair, which culminated in a victory at the WGC-Workday Championship. Jakovac let us in on how Morikawa pulled it all together after a bumpy start on Sunday to ultimately take home a three-stroke victory.
With the victory, the 24-year-old Morikawa joined four-time PGA Champion Tiger Woods as the only two players to win both a major and a World Golf Championship before the age of 25.
Morikawa’s fourth career Tour victory came in just his 41st start – the most wins by any player currently under the age of 25. He’s also just the seventh player under 25 to win four or more PGA Tour events – including a major – joining Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Jerry Pate on that remarkable list.
